Book reports should contain a clear introduction, body and conclusion to fulfill basic report-writing standards. In the books, Ancient Greek monsters, gods, and heroes are real, and some of the monsters are trying to take over the world. I then expanded the above graphic organizer onto our anchor chart to introduce this strategy to my students and to really drive home the ideas of summarizing fiction.
